Deep Search: Same Query, More Results

Last week we made some important changes to the search engine. You may have noticed that the relevance of the results has received a significant boost, and I am very pleased with this. Now it is easier than ever to quickly find galleries that match your query.
You may also have noticed that the search engine returns less results than before. This is a direct consequence of weeding out the lesser results. Some people have pointed out to me that they preferred the old, less focused way of searching.
As of today there is a "Deep Search" checkbox below the query box:
By checking this box, the relevance threshold for the results will be lowered, giving you more results in response to your query. If you like to dive for treasures that are buried deep in my database, this option is for you. If you're in for a quick swim, go with the default settings.
Of course the extra results may or may not be relevant, but that is the consequence of "going deep". You decide, we provide.
